Linger Cover LargeIn Maggie Stiefvater's Shiver, Grace and Sam found each other.  Now, in Linger, they must fight to be together. For Grace, this means defying her parents and keeping a very dangerous secret about her own well-being. For Sam, this means grappling with his werewolf past . . . and figuring out a way to survive into the future. Add into the mix a new wolf named Cole, whose own past has the potential to destroy the whole pack.  And Isabelle, who already lost her brother to the wolves . . . and is nonetheless drawn to Cole.

At turns harrowing and euphoric, Linger is a spellbinding love story that explores both sides of love -- the light and the dark, the warm and the cold -- in a way you will never forget.

Comes out in stores everywhere July 20th. Pre-order here.

Enter to win an advanced review copies of LINGER, Sisters Red, The Dead-Tossed Waves, and The Replacement on Maggie's blog.

Why Hello » 29 Dec 2009

» Posted by Claire

Hello all. I hope everyone had a great Christmas! Almost 2010 . . . really? Is that for real? Wasn't it January 1st 2009 like, a week ago? I swear it was. Well. Anyways. Moving on.

Yes. So. This is quite hard to do, it really is. I've decided to put up Ellota Online up for adoption. I'm still a fan of Dakota and Elle but I can't find time and dedication to sit down and really work on what I wish the site could be. So therefore, it will be given to someone experienced in web design, HTML, Fusion News or Wordpress (no Cutenews allowed on my server), Coppermine, and Photoshop or Paint Shop. You'll also need to have access to a few press sites, for images. Oh, and of course, if you're not a fan of Dakota and Elle, you can't have the site. Duh. Now, you won't have control over the domain and you have to keep it on my server, unless you buy the domain from me, and I am still considered one of the owners. You'll have to keep it updated and active, so you'll need to have dedication to have a fansite for these two busy girls. I'll try to help out as often as I can but whoever takes over will have design control and will absolutely have to keep the scripts updated all the time. If you'd like to find out the full details and you're interested in it, give me an email and we can talk. =) I really, really it wouldn't have to come down to this but I hope people'll understand.

Loving Liana's new layout » 28 Oct 2009

» Posted by Claire

I finally got the chance to put up a new layout at Loving Liana a few days ago. I was a bit on the fence about it but I think it's a pretty decent layout. =) And there is so much pink! I went a bit overboard with the pink. =P But oh well! Expect a new layout here very soon too!

Also, for any Simply Miss Ronan visitors, the domain saoirse-ronan.org may go down for a couple hours on November 5th. I'll be renewing the domain but I'm not sure what time of the day it is set to expire. If it does expire, for a few hours you can visit it at saoirse.sweetgiggles.net. Don't worry, though! The domain will return, should it go out for a few hours. =)

Ramblings and stuff » 26 Oct 2009

» Posted by Claire

I've never posted a "real" blog here, or really any of my thoughts on things so I thought I should. And I don't really feel like logging into LiveJournal =)

I was curious, so I went to Google and looked up 'Saoirse Ronan'. Just Saoirse Ronan, nothing else. So what happens? Simply Miss Ronan comes up at number three. Number three?!?!?!?!? On Google?!?!?!? Oh my goodness, how did that happen?! And Chloe Source...searching for 'Chloe Moretz'. Well, that comes up at a still-astounding number eight! I mean, are my eyes tricking me or are my websites really on the first page of Google, the most popular search on the internet?

There was a time when my sites weren't anything - just simple little sites on crappy free servers. When I aspired to be one of those webmasters who had those great, huge fansites that got lots of visitors. And I am one those webmasters (though I wouldn't call my sites great at all...). Then, I didn't know what some webmasters put into their sites. Now, I try so hard to keep my sites up-to-date and original. It feels strangely satisfactory.

I have no idea when it happened. Maybe it happened when I opened SMR. I don't know. And everyday, it feels even better, whenever someone says "Amazing site" or "Good job". I look at my layouts and think, "Everyone is going to hate this." then I hear compliments that make me see whatever beauty that layout has.

And being a webmaster has changed me in my offline life. I'm actually excited when a new project shows up on my websites and I want to tell everyone (I usually don't though). I have a lot more self-confidence because of my websites. I know that sounds unusual but it's so completely true. I have no idea who I'd be if I weren't into web design. It's sort of healed a wound that was left behind when my dad passed away. It helped me when my best friend turned into my worst enemy. And it's helped through all those lonely times. Now who would I be without the internet today? Probably that lonely girl I was in 2005, who always wore black hoodies and ponytails. Thinking about that makes me depressed. =/

I'm so glad I'm not that girl anymore.

New layout at Chloe Source! » 20 Oct 2009

My goodness, this took so long. I swear I've been working on coding this layout for months. I basically have. I made the layout on September 7th. And I spent all this time trying to get the css decent, but it still doesn't look right. =P Whateverrr. I'm too lazy to make a thumbnail so please take a look: here. =) And now for Loving Liana!
